Flooring: Tile Grout
Tile Grout

Choosing a tile grout maybe as much important as choosing right tiles. It will complete tiles installation and set the tone for final effect.
There are two basic grout types: non-sanded and sanded. The first one is used for spaces 1/8” or smaller and for tiles which can be scratch easily. Sanded tile grout contains small grains of sand and is applied for spaces up to ½”. Its surface is little rougher.
Color of grout and tiles can be similar if a goal is to achieve more uniform look. In this case the grout is kind of blended into whole tile work. However one may choose color which is totally different. This contrast will emphasize pattern design but also may expose imperfections in workmanship if any.
